The Experiment Station Committee on Organization and Policy (ESCOP)
is the executive or operating body of the Experiment Station Section (ESS),
Board on Agriculture Assembly (BAA) - NASULGC, and handles continuing business,
organization, and policy issues on behalf of the state agricultural experiment
station directors.

The National Associations of State Universities and Land Grant Colleges
(NASULGC) was founded in 1887 and is the nation's oldest higher
education association. NASULGC has been in the forefront of educational
leadership nationally for its dedication to supporting excellence in teaching,
research and public service.

The North Central Regional Association (NCRA) of Agricultural Experiment
Station Directors is responsible for facilitating cooperation of
regional and national research. The research is supported in part by the
Multistate Research Fund (MRF), which is a federal appropriation authorized by
the Hatch Act.

The Northeastern Regional Association (NERA) of State Agricultural
Experiment Stations Directors (SAES) is the umbrella organization for
member institutions which are mostly, but not exclusively, associated with
colleges of agriculture at land-grant universities and participants in the
Federal-state partnership in agricultural science for which they receive funding
to support research under that mandate.

The purpose of Southern Association of Agricultural Experiment Station
Directors is to encourage collaboration among agricultural scientists
in the South as well as inform the funders of agricultural research about
research priorities, impacts, and status of projects.

The Western Association of Agricultural Experiment Station Directors
(WAAESD) represents the administrators of the State Agricultural
Experiment Stations in the Western Region by providing a forum for the exchange
